Chemistry Lab
The lab are well-lit, well ventilated & well equipped. The children can conduct practicals individually. The senior students also conduct investigatory projects apart from the usual testing and analysis. Many charts and models are displayed and used as teaching aids. The lab is managed by qualified lab assistant who help the students to perform experiments safely.
Physics Lab
The ORLEANS well-equipped Physics laboratory suffice the scientific acumen in students. There is a provision for students to conduct their experiments individually. Many working models are displayed for different experiments. Laboratory has a qualified lab assistant. All safety measures are taken care of. Routine stock-taking is done to ensure that the labs are in perfect order.
Biology Lab
The Biology lab is well- structured, well-lit and well-equipped. There is no dearth of material and students are encouraged to explore the mysteries and understand difficult concepts of the subject through experimentation. The children are also taken outdoors to study the flora and fauna. The school garden is an ecology lab by itself. All kinds of rooting, grafting, germination procedures and chromatography are also executed in the Biology lab.
Computer Lab
The air-conditioned Computer lab has 45 systems. All the computers are configured with the latest operating system & requisite latest softwares. The lab is LAN connected to facilitate uninterrupted internet usage.
Psychology Lab
The Psychology lab serves as a learning center for senior students who opt for psychology, and also functions as a counselling center for all students. The Psychology teacher, who also serves as the school counsellor, is always available to students. The activities conducted in the lab are invigorating and foster a deep passion and understanding of the subject.
Mathematics Lab
The Mathematics Lab is well-ventilated and spacious, equipped with modern training tools. There is ample space for display, and the elevated round tables assist in conducting experiments. Students understand difficult concepts through activities that verify, discover, and reinforce what they have already learned. Numerous puzzles and games make learning fun. For example, students verify geometrical theorems using tangrams and verify Euler's formula by creating 3D figures with Jodo sticks. Activities like Rangometry allow students to create beautiful designs using triangles, squares, pentagons, and other shapes, making learning meaningful and multisensorial.
Children are encouraged to hone their mental arithmetic skills through quizzes and enrichment activities. All these activities boost students confidence and develop a positive approach toward learning mathematics, enabling them to think "out of the box" and relate mathematics to their daily lives.
Language Lab
The Language Lab is a place where young learners have the opportunity to refine their interactive capabilities. Audio and video clips are played in the lab to enhance learning, with an emphasis on developing learners' proficiency in the correct usage and pronunciation of the English language. Knowledge, skills, and proficiency are cultivated through various learning opportunities in the Language Lab.
Students learn in various ways—watching videos, listening to audio clips, engaging in discussions, reading, listening, thinking, and expressing themselves in speech or writing, both individually and collaboratively. Teaching and learning in the Language Lab make the entire experience effective and interesting. The multilingual Orleanites have a unique presence in the race to become global citizens.
These labs help students become good and presentable orators.
