The Principal sir along with the chief guest Dr Atul Bhardwaj accompanied by Incharge Ms. Poonam Batra unfurled the flag. A riveting march past by the disciplined sportspersons of the school displaying bold-hued attire marked the commencement of the event. The invigorating march past was followed by the welcome song declaring the sports meet opening. The Principal, Dr. Rakesh Mohan Pujahari felicitated the Chief Guest with a token of regard and extended a warm welcome to all present. The Music Choir performed a melodious rendition of “Patriotic Songs" leaving the gathering electrified and awe-struck. The Principal commenced his address by awarding Master Arav Bharadwaj and Dr. Atul Bhardwaj for their commendable and incredible display of courage in the Cycle trip from Manipur morang to New Delhi to pay tribute to the great freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose. On this occasion, he appreciated the joy and efforts showcased by the students during the preparation of the event and elaborated upon the importance of sports and extracurricular activities in the lives of students as they embark on their path to holistic development. He even urged the students to devote their time to academics, sports and other co-scholastic activities so as to maintain a perfect balance between technology and education.

And here the time came for the finale of sports meet which started with our little Early Years Orlenites, Animal race followed by Groups A,B,C,D where students participated in various sports like races of 50m,100m, relay race , cardboard race, vocabulary enhancement, mind math’s cherry race etc. The gathered cheered as the students displayed fervour and gusto. In between races, the audience was entertained through various enchanting choir performances, graceful presentation of aerobics and a scintillating display of yoga and taekwondo. The surprise event was a pleasant game for our beloved parents as well. During his address, the Chief Guest, Dr. Atul Bhardwaj extended his greetings to the audience and congratulated the participants on their enthusiastic display of talent and spirit of sportsmanship. He appreciated the sense of competition instilled in the students and encouraged them to pursue their goals with similar diligence and perseverance. The Principal, coordinators and teachers awarded the winners for their outstanding performances in sports with medals, trophies and certificates. He urged them to “keep trying” and wished them luck for their future endeavours.

To end the evening with grace Ms. Poonam Batra gave a vote of thanks, where she acknowledged the hard work of teachers and students and thanked the almighty for showing his blessings on all the Orlenites.
