At Orleans - The School, our Library is at the epicenter of our school group. It empowers teaching and learning for all members of the school community. The role of our library is to accomodate a flexible space that is innovatively designed with best practices and research in mind where students can explore and use resources to cater to their individual needs. The students are motivated to become ardent learners so a world of knowledge opens up to them. The available resources offer a variety of learning opportunities for all ages as it comes from a variety of sources, within India and abroad.
DELNET was started at the India International Centre Library in January 1988 and was registered as a society in 1992. It was initially supported by the National Information System for Science and Technology (NISSAT), Department of Scientific and Industrial Reseach, Government of India.
SWAYAM is a programme initiated by Government of India and designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy, access, equity and quality. The objective of this effort is to take the best teaching learning resources to all, including the most disadvantaged.
DIKSHA can be accessed by learners and teachers across the country and currently supports 36 Indian languages. Each State/UT leverages the DIKSHA platform in its own way, as it has the freedom and choice to use the varied capabilities and solutions of the platform to design and run programs for teachers, learners and administrators.
